Chongqing Anju Ancient City Huaxia Cultural Tourism Development Co., Ltd., formerly known as Chongqing Anju Ancient City Protection and Development Co., Ltd., was established in January 2013 with a registered capital of 10 million yuan. It is a wholly state-owned company funded by the Tongliang District State-owned Assets Management Center of Chongqing Municipality, with independent legal person qualification. In July 2015, as the scenic area needed to improve publicity for development, the registered capital was changed from 10 million yuan to 100 million yuan with the consent of Tongliang District People's Government, and it was officially renamed as Chongqing Anju Ancient City Huaxia Culture Tourism Development Co. In May 2016, a sole subsidiary, Chongqing Anju Ancient City Tourism Commodity Management Co., Ltd., was established with a registered capital of 10 million yuan, mainly responsible for scenic area development and tourism products management. In accordance with the “Resource Allocation Plan for Key State-owned Enterprises in Chongqing Tongliang District State-owned Assets Operation and Management Center”, in November 2018, the possession of Anju Waterworks of Longdu Water Resources Company was transferred to Anju Huaxia Cultural Tourism Company as a whole.
